About Hamad International Airport:
Hamad International Airport is the international airport of Doha, the capital city of Qatar. It replaced the former Doha International Airport as Qatar’s principal airport. HIA’s passenger terminal complex covers 600,000 square meters while the airport itself covers 29 square kilometres, and has the capacity to handle 8,700 passengers per hour, or 30 million passengers per annum, rising to 53 million when the second phase is complete.
