Vacancy Details :
- Graduate Apprentices→ 142
- Technician (Diploma) Apprentices →142
Minimum Educational Qualifications:
A. Category – I Graduate Apprentices:-- First Class Engineering Degree [Four/three-year duration (for lateral entry)] awarded by an Indian University in the respective field with not less than 60% marks.
- First Class Diploma (3-year duration) awarded by State Technical Board/University in the respective field with not less than 60% marks.
Age:
- The age limit will be followed as per Apprenticeship Rules
Reservation of Vacancies:
Guidelines under the Apprentices Act on Reservation for SC/ST/OBC/PWD will be followed. Who is claiming reservation under SC/ST/OBC/PWD shall provide the certificate as per Government standard format, failing which their claim for reservation will be considered as ‘General’ category only. Candidates claiming the OBC category should bring an OBC certificate as per the Govt. prescribed format from the certificate issuing authority of Tahsildar.
Duration of Training:
The duration of Apprenticeship training will be for a period of one year as per apprentice (Amendment) Act 1973.
Previous Training / Experience:
Candidates who have already undergone or are currently undergoing apprenticeship under Apprentices (Amendment) Act 1973, and/or have one year or more experience are not eligible to apply.
Selection Procedure:
The final rank list would be prepared according to categories General / SC / ST / OBC on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates.
TRAVEL EXPENSES:
No TA / DA will be paid for attending certificate verification
BOARDING/LODGING:
No boarding or lodging expenses are admissible
Salary & Allowances
- Graduate Apprentice→Rs.9000/-Per Month
- Technician (Diploma) Apprentice→Rs.8000/-Per Month
How To Apply
Upon completion of the Apprenticeship period, Kerala State Electricity Board Limited shall have no obligation to offer employment to such apprentices nor can an apprentice claim right for employment on the grounds of completion of Apprenticeship.
