Position: Quality Assurance Officer (Maternity Cover)

  • LOCATION: London – Bedford Square
  • CONTRACT TYPE: Fixed-term (up to 12 months from January 2024)
  • DEPARTMENT: Registry Office
  • REPORTS TO: School Registrar
  • HOURS: Full time; 35 Hours, Monday – Friday; 10am–6pm
  • SALARY: £41,000 to £43,000 per annum
  • CLOSING DATE: 27 November 2023

Introduction:

The Architectural Association School of Architecture (AA) is looking for a Quality Assurance Officer for a fixed-term contract, covering an authorized leave period. Reporting to the QAA Facilitator and the School Registrar, and collaborating with key figures like the Head of Teaching and Learning, Deputy Head, and Chair of the Academic Committee, the QA Officer manages the school's quality assurance processes. This involves reviewing and updating policies and ensuring compliance with external regulatory guidance.

The role also includes coordinating the Academic Committee and consolidating data sets for the AA School's engagement with regulatory bodies like the Office for Students (OfS) and HESA. The ideal candidate must have a proven track record in quality assurance within the higher education sector..
